Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd is helping a Leeds-based precision tooling manufacturer recruit a CNC Tool & Cutter Grinder / Apprentice-Trained Engineer. The role suits an experienced CNC Setter-Operator or an apprentice-trained engineer seeking to develop specialist grinding skills.

You'll work with specialist CNC grinding equipment, support the manufacture of precision cutting tools, and apply your engineering knowledge in a high-precision environment. Training is provided for the right person.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC Tool & Cutter Grinder preferred.
• Apprentice-trained engineer with strong engineering background considered.
• Willingness to learn dedicated grinding skills; training can be provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Working with specialist CNC tool and cutter grinding equipment.
• Supporting the manufacture of precision cutting tools and drill bits.
• Applying engineering knowledge and practical skills within a specialist manufacturing environment.
• Working to high standards of precision, accuracy and quality.
• Developing your skills in CNC tool and cutter grinding, with training provided where required.
