Job Description:

We are seeking a CNC Setter / Operator / Programmer for a hydraulic manufacturer based in Rochester. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating CNC Lathes, manufacturing specialized components, and handling small batch productions (circa 5 to 20 units). Proficiency in ISO (Fanuc) programming language is essential.

The candidate should possess a solid understanding of general machining practices, experience in programming machines with multi-station head tooling, live tooling, and preferably manual milling machines to support the broader machine shop operations.

Experience in workload planning and component loading is crucial to ensure timely delivery to our engineering workshop or customer requirements. Collaboration with the production management team to optimize machine efficiency is also expected.

Additionally, skills in designing and manufacturing fixtures for work holding would be advantageous.

Working hours are expected to be 40 per week, with benefits including a company pension, free on-site parking, and a schedule of 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
