Job Description:

CNC Lathe Programmer / Setter / Operator is required for a Hatfield-based manufacturer. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of precision engineering parts, supplying industries such as aerospace, defence, and robotics. They are seeking an experienced CNC Turner with online programming experience to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

• Programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes
• Carrying out inspection of first-off parts
• Ensuring components are manufactured to high standards according to specifications
• Seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Requirements:

• Experience with programming, setting, and operating Mazak CNC lathes
• Experience with Mazak matrix and smooth controls
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Based within a commutable distance of Hatfield, Hertfordshire

Remuneration:

• Competitive salary
• Monday to Thursday, 07:45 - 16:45; Friday, 07:45 - 12:45
• Holiday allowance and pension
