Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter in the West Midlands. The role focuses on programming, setting and proving out jobs to tight tolerances, with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of CNC programming experience.
• Experience in CNC milling and/or turning.
• Ability to programme, set, run and prove out jobs independently.
• Strong reading of drawings, tolerances and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines and/or CNC lathes.
• Prove out new programmes and adjust to meet results.
• Optimise cycles, tooling and processes for productivity.
• Work with FANUC, HURCO or similar controls.
• Read drawings and inspect to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
