Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Operative / CNC Press Brake Operator in Cullompton. You will read drawings, set up CNC press brakes and related equipment to manufacture sheet metal parts.

The role requires experience with CNC brakes and a strong eye for detail, with overtime opportunities and a permanent position within a supportive manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
• Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel preferred.
• Great attention to detail.
• Passion for sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
• Use a variety of tools and machinery, including CNC, press brakes, rollers, guillotines and punching machines.
• Measure and cut sheet metal accurately according to specifications.
• Check the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet high standards.
• Work efficiently and independently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Set and operate CNC press brakes, working to tight tolerances.
