Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Operative for a permanent role in Willand. You will read technical drawings, set up CNC press brakes, program where needed, select tooling, and form sheet metal components to tight tolerances in a busy workshop.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with overtime options. The role offers a salary of £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience, a friendly and supportive manufacturing environment, and opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Experience with CNC-controlled brakes.
• Experience folding stainless steel, galvanised, aluminium and steel is preferred.
• Great attention to detail and passion for sheet metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture sheet metal parts and components.
• Set and operate CNC press brakes and related machinery to tight tolerances.
• Measure and cut sheet metal accurately to specifications and check quality.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

What We Offer
