Job summary

Latitude Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Operator near Portsmouth to join a growing manufacturing team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on setting and operating CNC sliding head machines with a hands-on approach and a commitment to quality workmanship.

You will inspect parts with precision measuring equipment, interpret technical drawings, and support colleagues with machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience with Fanuc controls and 5-axis milling is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience with CNC sliding head machines
Experience with Fanuc controls
Able to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
Experience with 5 axis CNC milling

Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC sliding head machines
Carry out part inspection using measuring equipment
Experience using Fanuc controls
Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting
