Job summary

Oliver Rae Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Setter Programmer to join their established team in the UK. You will set and program CNC machinery to produce components to drawing specifications, reading drawings, performing tool changes and setting offsets while maintaining high quality and workshop standards.

The role offers a days-based schedule with early finish on Friday and a permanent, full-time position in a modern workshop environment. Earnings stated up to £68k with premium overtime.

The Role

As a CNC Setter Programmer, you will be responsible for setting and programming CNC machinery to produce high-quality components to drawing specifications.

Your duties will include:

• CNC machine setting and programming


• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings


• Tool changes and setting offsets


• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring components meet specifications


• General machine maintenance and housekeeping


• Troubleshooting and making adjustments where required


• Working efficiently and maintaining high standards of quality

About You

We are looking for experienced CNC Setters who are confident programming their own machines and have a strong understanding of CNC machining.

Hours

Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
Friday: 07:00 – 14:00
