Job summary

Latitude Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Engineer for a hands-on role in a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will set up and operate CNC sliding head lathes, inspect parts with precision instruments, and ensure components meet strict tolerances and quality standards.

The role emphasizes proactive knowledge sharing, teamwork, and maintaining a safe, clean working environment. Prior experience with CNC sliding heads is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

Our clients are seeking a skilled CNC Sliding Head Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in setting, and operating CNC lathe machines.

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, high standards of workmanship, and a proactive attitude toward sharing knowledge and supporting the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC sliding head machines
• Carry out part inspection using standard measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
• Ensure components are produced to tight tolerances and quality standards
• Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with the team
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience with CNC sliding head lathes would be desirable but not essential
