Resource Recruitment is recruiting a CNC Programmer / Setter for a renowned aerospace manufacturer in Fareham, Hampshire on a permanent basis. The role focuses on CNC turning operations using sliding head multi-axis lathes, with opportunities for manual turning, milling and grinding.

We seek candidates with CNC machining experience and a proven ability to program, set and operate multi-axis CNC lathes in high-precision environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CNC machining.
• Experience programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes.
• Experience in high-precision environments.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer / Setter for a renowned and well-established Aerospace manufacturer on a permanent basis. Founded over 100 years ago, the company have developed & grown every year to where they are now known for the design & manufacture of aerospace components and parts.

As a CNC Programmer / Setter you will be working within a machine shop team focused on CNC turning operations. The site operates a range of CNC automatic lathes, particularly sliding head machines;

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes
• Undertaking other machining as required such as manual turning, milling and grinding
• Deburring of machined parts

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in CNC Machining
• Experience of programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes
• Experience in high precision environments
• Sliding head experience would be highly desirable
