Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Gloucester is seeking a CNC Machinist - Miller to join a precision engineering team fabricating aerospace components. This permanent role offers a salary of £37,000–£40,000 and regular Monday to Friday shifts with alternating start times.

You will set and operate CNC milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls, read technical drawings, and maintain tight tolerances. Overtime paid at premium rate; proactive attitude and attention to detail are essential to deliver

Position: CNC Machinist - Miller

Location: Gloucester

Position: permanent

Salary: £37000 to £40000

Working hours: Monday to Friday week 1 6:00 am to 02:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm week 2

Overtimes: paid at premium rate

We are looking for CNC Miller to work for engineering manufacturing business based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for machining precision parts for aerospace sector.

Responsibilities of CNC setter

• Following technical drawing setting and operating CNC milling machine with Fanuc controls machining aerospace components


• Machining precision parts to tight tolerances


• CNC Machinist must be able to set and operate a machine under no supervision


• Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances

Requirements of CNC setter

• Previous experience working with Milling CNC machines with Fanuc or Haas controls


• Strong ability to read technical drawings and accurately measure components.


• Experience working to tight tolerances and using measurement tools.


• A proactive and positive attitude, with the willingness to receive further training.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
