Job summary

Staffline in Gloucester is seeking a CNC Machinist – Miller to join our engineering manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will set up and operate milling machines, manufacture precision aerospace components, and ensure parts meet strict tolerances.

You will work a rotating shift pattern (week 1 6:00 am–2:00 pm; week 2 2:00 pm–10:00 pm) and receive overtime at premium rate. Prior experience with Fanuc or Haas controls is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with milling CNC machines using Fanuc or Haas controls.
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately.
• Experience maintaining tight tolerances.
• Willingness to receive further training.

Position: CNC Machinist - Miller

Location: Gloucester

Position: permanent

Salary: £37000 to £40000

Working hours: Monday to Friday week 1 6:00 am to 02:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm week 2

Overtimes: paid at premium rate

We are looking for CNC Miller to work for engineering manufacturing business based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for machining precision parts for aerospace sector.

Responsibilities of CNC setter:

• Following technical drawing setting and operating CNC milling machine with Fanuc controls machining aerospace components
• Machining precision parts to tight tolerances
• CNC Machinist must be able to set and operate a machine under no supervision
• Measuring, adjusting, and maintaining tight tolerances

Requirements of CNC setter

• Previous experience working with Milling CNC machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and accurately measure components.
• Experience working to tight tolerances and using measurement tools.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with the willingness to receive further training.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
