Job summary

HRGO is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join its precision engineering team in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. You will set up and operate CNC Mills to produce high-precision components according to drawings and specifications, with options for 4-day or 5-day weeks.

The role offers a starting salary of £34,476 per year with overtime, 39 hours per week, and potential to work nights. Engineering apprenticeship or similar experience preferred, and a strong team player who can maintain quality and safety.

CNC Miller - Setter / Operator

• Location: Clacton on Sea, Essex
• Salary: From £34,476 PA (£17.00 p/hr), depending on experience, plus overtime rates
• Working Hrs - 39 hrs per week.

Choice of working a 4-day or 5-day week:

• Mon - Wed - 07:30 - 18:00 and Thurs 07:30 - 17:00

Or

• Mon - Thurs - 07:30 - 16:30 and Fri 07:30 - 12:30
• We would also consider candidates looking for working on a night shift basis

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join this long established and respected precision engineering company that serves the Marine, Automotive, Aerospace, Food and Medical sectors.

As a CNC Miller, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills to produce high-precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Tasks:

• Set up and run CNC Mills, ensuring adherence to quality and work procedures.
• Operate additional machinery when required, in accordance with company guidelines.
• Inspect your own work and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.

Requirements:

• Engineering apprenticeship (advantageous).
• Previous experience in a similar role.
