CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 (38-hour week) - £40,000-£45,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:30 or 07:00-15:30, Friday 06:00-12:00

The Role
As a CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines
- Produce precision components to customer specifications
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings
- Machine a variety of materials including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy
- Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances
- Conduct in-process and final quality checks
- Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards
- Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience machining a range of materials, including exotic alloys
- Competent using inspection and measuring equipment
- High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to work
