Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in Oldham is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator for 3- and 5-axis milling, with experience on Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain controls. You will program, set up and operate 3-axis (with rotary table) and 5-axis machines, check parts with measuring equipment, and maintain high quality and on-time delivery.

Experience with Soraluce floor borers, Doosan horizontal borers, Elgamill, Mazak and Hartford VMCs is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years in 3 & 5 axis programming.
• Fully conversant with Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain controls.
• Competent reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience with tight tolerances and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Job Type: Permanent

Overtime: x1.5, x2 on Sundays

• Bonus: £1.50ph extra for running two machines
• 3 months’ salary review

About the Role:

• Programming, setting, and operating 3-axis (with rotary table) and 5-axis Milling machines

Candidate Requirements:

• Ideally, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in 3 & 5 axis programming
• Fully conversant with Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain controls
• Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Enthusiasm for producing the best possible quality
• Experience working with tight tolerances and deadlines
• Flexible attitude toward working hours as overtime may be required
• Ability to work on your own initiative
