Job summary

Workforce Staffing is recruiting for an established precision engineering business in Esher, Surrey. The role is a CNC Miller/ Programmer Setter Operator, permanent, full-time, 39 hours per week, paying £20-£24 per hour.

You will programme, set and operate CNC milling machines from drawings, with 3-4 axis experience essential; 5-axis advantageous. Overtime at 1.5x, pension, and 25 days holiday are included. Must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong programming, setting and operating experience on CNC mills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances; aerospace/defence experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

• Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.
• Set tooling, work-holding and offsets.
• Carry out first-off and in-process inspection.
• Troubleshoot machining and make necessary programme/offset adjustments.
• Experience with 3- and 4-axis milling is essential.
• 5-axis experience would be highly advantageous.

Requirements
