Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer for a permanent, days-based role in Aldershot. You will create and optimise programs for 3 & 4-axis Hurco centers using OneCNC CAD/CAM, ensuring efficient production and high quality while keeping cycle times down.

The role requires reading engineering drawings and GD&T, with a proactive approach to improving processes and working closely with machinists in a stable, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC CAD/CAM Programmer.
• Experience with OneCNC is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of CNC milling and machining processes.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise CNC programs for 3 & 4-axis Hurco machines using OneCNC.
• Interpret drawings, CAD models and specs to produce accurate programs.
• Develop tooling and machining strategies for various materials.
• Work with machinists to improve performance, productivity and cycle times.
• Troubleshoot and refine programs to improve quality and reduce waste.
• Ensure all processes meet quality, safety and engineering standards.

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (Flexible Start & Finish Times)

The Role

You'll be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs for 3 & 4-axis Hurco machining centres using OneCNC CAD/CAM software, ensuring efficient production, exceptional quality, and reduced cycle times.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and optimise CNC programs using OneCNC for 3 & 4-axis Hurco CNC machines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to produce accurate machining programs.
• Develop efficient tooling and machining strategies for a range of materials.
• Work closely with machinists to improve program performance, maximise productivity, and reduce cycle times.
• Troubleshoot and refine existing programs to improve quality and minimise waste.
• Ensure all machining processes meet quality, safety, and engineering standards.
