Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller for a permanent role near Newbury. You will set up and operate 3–5 axis milling machines, edit Fanuc programmes and manufacture precision components to tight tolerances from detailed drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Experience with high-precision components in motorsport or aerospace is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Edit CNC programmes using Fanuc controls.
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances from detailed drawings.
• Conduct self-inspection using verniers, micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain high quality and production standards and safe machining practices.

CNC Miller - Days or Weekend Shift

Location: Near Newbury, Berkshire

Salary: Up to £19.00 per hour (Days) / £23.75 per hour (Weekends)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Shifts: Monday-Friday Days or Friday-Sunday Weekends

Shift Patterns & Pay

Day Shift

• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
• £18.00 - £19.00 per hour DOE

Weekend Shift

• Friday to Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm
• 30-minute unpaid break
• 25% shift allowance
• Up to £23.75 per hour DOE

Duties

• Setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC Milling machines
• Editing CNC programmes using Fanuc controls
• Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
• Working from detailed engineering drawings
• Conducting self-inspection using verniers, micrometers and calipers
• Maintaining excellent quality and production standards
• Ensuring safe and efficient machining operations

Requirements

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC Milling machines
• Experience with Fanuc controls and programme editing
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience within precision engineering, motorsport or aerospace
• Confident using inspection and measuring equipment
• Experience with Edgecam, Siemens NX or similar CAM software
• Vericut experience advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards
