The Workshop in Havant is looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join our precision machining team. You will program, set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components, reading drawings and ensuring high quality on a fast-growing shop floor.

With 5+ years of CNC milling experience and strong measuring skills, you will collaborate with engineering and other manufacturing teams. Hurco experience is beneficial, and we offer overtime at 1.5x, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays,

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in CNC milling.
• Strong programming, setting and operating skills.
• Experience with manual milling.
• Hurco machine experience is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Confident using inspection and measurement equipment.

Responsabilités

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Operate CNC and manual milling equipment safely and accurately.
• Interpret technical drawings and work to precise specifications.
• Inspect completed components using appropriate measuring equipment.

Are you an experienced CNC Miller with strong programming, setting and operating skills and a keen eye for precision?

As an Experienced CNC Miller, you will manufacture precision components using CNC and manual milling equipment, while working closely with engineering and other manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components.
• Operate CNC and manual milling equipment safely and accurately.
• Interpret technical drawings and work to precise specifications.
• Inspect completed components using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Monitor manufacturing times using the company's ERP system.
• Identify and resolve machining and production issues.
• Work closely with engineering, CNC turning and manual machining teams.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and shopfloor professionalism.

Skills & Knowledge Required

• 5+ years' experience in CNC milling.
• Strong CNC milling programming, setting and operating skills.
• Experience with manual milling.
• Hurco machine experience is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Confident using inspection and measurement equipment.
• Good mathematical and measurement skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to solve problems independently.
