Rubicon Recruitment is recruiting for a CNC Miller in Poole, UK. The role focuses on setting and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls to produce precise components. There is potential for programming growth and optimization of cycle times.

Job description

CNC Miller | Poole | up to £19ph

Up to £19ph, proper machines, and a Friday that finishes at 12:30pm.

This CNC Miller role puts your Fanuc or Heidenhain skills to work on accurate, high-quality components.

As a CNC Miller, you will benefit from:

As a CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce components accurately
• Editing and writing programs at the machine to improve cycle times and quality
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipmentMaintaining machines and work areas to a high standard

As a CNC Miller, your experience will include:

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment
• Working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
• Programming experience (ideal, not essential)
• Confident reading technical drawings and using micrometers, verniers and gauges
• A methodical approach with a strong focus on accuracy and right-first-time quality
