Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is sourcing a CNC Miller in Poole who will work on Fanuc or Heidenhain controlled CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.

Hours are 39 per week: Mon-Thu 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–12:30. Overtime paid at x1.5; benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private healthcare, and gym membership.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controls.
• Programming experience (ideal, not essential).
• Confident reading technical drawings and using micrometers, verniers and gauges.
• A methodical approach with a strong focus on accuracy and right-first-time quality.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce components accurately.
• Editing and writing programs at the machine to improve cycle times and quality.
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Maintaining machines and work areas to a high standard.

CNC Miller | Poole | up to £19ph

Up to £19ph, proper machines, and a Friday that finishes at 12:30pm.
This CNC Miller role puts your Fanuc or Heidenhain skills to work on accurate, high-quality components.
