Job summary

Omega Plc in Dartford is seeking a CNC Milling setter/operator to set up and run CNC 5-axis milling machines with Fanuc controls. You will work from engineering drawings, handling aluminium and stainless steel while using precision measuring tools to guarantee quality.

You should be apprentice trained or time served, with the ability to change tools and adjust offsets. The role includes an overtime-friendly environment and a 39-hour week on a night shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to

Job description

We are now seeking a CNC Milling setters to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Dartford. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.

• Setting and operating CNC 5 axis Milling machines with Fanuc controls
• Working on technical engineering drawings
• Working with aluminium and stainless steel
• Ability to use measuring tools
• Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.

Requirement of CNC Miller:

• Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
• Ideally apprentice trained or equivalent or time served
• Ability to change tools and adjust offsets
• Ability to use measuring tools
• Working hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 6.30 pm to 6:30 am
