Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Dartford is seeking a CNC Milling setter/operator for a permanent role. You will set up and run 5-axis milling machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision components. The role is 39 hours per week, Mon-Thu, with a shift pattern and a salary of £64,584 per year. Benefits include 25 days leave, pension, bonus schemes, and overtime. You should be apprentice trained or time-served, with experience reading drawings and measuring parts.

Responsibilities

• Work from technical engineering drawings to produce precision parts.
• Work with aluminium and stainless steel materials.
• Use gauges, verniers and micrometres to verify parts.
• Ensure quality through part inspection and measurement.

We are now seeking a CNC Milling setters to work for an Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Dartford. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating the CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision engineering products.

Responsibilities of CNC Miller

• Setting and operating CNC 5 axis Milling machines with Fanuc controls
• Working on technical engineering drawings
• Working with aluminium and stainless steel
• Ability to use measuring tools
• Ensuring excellent quality through the inspection of parts using measuring equipment such as gauges, verniers and micrometres.

Requirement of CNC Miller

• Ideally, previous experience in setting and operating CNC Milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls
• Ideally apprentice trained or equivalent or time served
• Ability to change tools and adjust offsets
• Ability to use measuring tools
