Job Location: Halifax (commutable from Oldham, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Bradford, Wakefield, and Leeds)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to manufacture components to given specifications.
2. Perform tool changes, fixture adjustments, and machine offsets for precise and efficient machining.
3. Monitor machine operations and conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ideally possess a recognised Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or similar (NVQ Level 3 or higher), but this is not essential.
• Experience as a CNC Miller, Machinist, Programmer, Engineer, or Technician in a precision engineering or machine shop environment.
• Ability to independently program using ISO or conversational controls.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30AM – 17:30PM
• Friday: 07:30AM – 11:30AM

• Salary: Up to £36,000 per year (£18/hour)
