Venatu is proud to announce that a leading precision engineering client based in Rotherham is now looking to expand their successful business. They specialize in high-quality CNC machining for various industries such as Oil & Gas, Medical, Heavy, and more, supplying some of the country's largest firms with top-tier machining. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced CNC Millers/Programmers familiar with HURCO or FANUC controls to join their team ASAP.

Role

This is a full-time role paying circa £18 per hour plus a 6% hourly bonus. The shift pattern is as follows:

• Week 1: 6.30am - 3pm (Monday - Thursday), 6.30am - 2pm (Friday)
• Week 2: 2.30pm - 11pm (Monday - Thursday), 1pm - 8.30pm (Friday)

Duties Include

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC Milling machines
• Working with Fanuc and Hurco controls
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring high standards of quality and precision
• Optimizing machining processes for efficiency
• Performing quality checks and basic machine maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC milling (setting, operating, and editing programs)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Hurco controls
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience in a precision engineering environment
• Strong programming ability
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
