The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture, repair, and overhaul of landing gears and flight-critical components for a customer base extending from OEMs to operators in both commercial and military markets.

Position Summary:

To set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery according to specifications.

Salary & Schedule:

Starting rate from £. to £. per hour, depending on experience, plus shift premium of % for 3-shift availability, with overtime paid at x2 rate depending on availability. Potential CNC Machinist salary up to £. per hour after training and experience. Relocation packages available for suitable candidates.

Work schedules include:

• Sunday to Friday for night shift
• Monday to Friday for morning and afternoon shifts

Easy access via A- & M-1 motorways and nearby railway station.

Main Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC machines including DMG DMC U, WFL, MAZAK, CINCINNATI, UNION, TOS VARNSDORF, MCM tanks, and pallets
• Producing precision machined components and tooling
• Checking quality throughout production
• Recording quantities and time using company systems
• Performing regular maintenance on machinery

Qualifications:

Experience with setting and operating CNC 3/4/5 axis milling machines handling aluminium, steel, and titanium components to tight tolerances. Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol, or Siemens control systems. Willingness to develop further CNC skills. Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
