For the successful CNC Miller Programmer / Setter /Operator, our client is offering:

The role - CNC Miller Programmer / Setter /Operator:

• Manufacture one-offs and small batch work
• Work from precision drawings to create programs
• Select tooling
• Prove and finish machining many components from raw bar stock, fabrications, profiles, castings, and forgings of various grades of steel, stainless steel, and alloy steels
• Use the latest CNC Vertical & Horizontal Machining centres equipped with 4th Axis & Renishaw probing
• Program offline via One CNC – XR8 3D milling software or on the machine using Manual Guide software or via standard ISO keyboard input

What our client is looking for in a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter /Operator:

• Time served (NVQ 3 or equivalent) - Essential
• Able to fully program, set, and operate Vertical Machining Centres using Fanuc Controls - Essential
• Previous experience with machining of exotic metals (super duplex, duplex, 718, x750, Hastelloy, Monel, etc) - Essential
• Experience in a previous or similar position (minimum 2 years) - Essential
• Understand ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems - Essential
