Workforce Staffing seeks a skilled CNC Miller/Setter/Operator for a precision engineering site in Keighley. You will set up 3-axis CNC milling machines, read complex drawings, and produce parts to micron tolerances in a high-precision environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with Siemens controls, the ability to handle components from 25 kg to 2.5 tons, and a reliable, independent work style in automotive or precision engineering.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator.
• Ability to machine to micron-level tolerances.
• Strong working knowledge of Siemens control systems.
• Background in automotive or high-precision engineering.
• Detail-oriented, reliable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines using Siemens controls.
• Machine precision components to micron-level tolerances, including bespoke parts to one-third of a micron.
• Handle components ranging from 25 kg to 2.5 tons.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to strict quality, health, and safety standards.

CNC Miller or Turner : Setter Operator - Any controls considered

Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour (DOE)

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm

Friday: Early finish at 12:00pm

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Setter / Operator to join a well-established, internationally recognised precision engineering manufacturer in Keighley. The company designs and manufactures high-end grinding machines and precision components for the automotive industry, supplying global OEMs such as Audi. The role involves working in a high-precision environment producing components consistently to micron tolerances, including bespoke work to one-third of a micron. Components vary in size and weight from 25 kg up to 2.5 tons.
