Job summary

Qualifications

Location: Andover

Pay rate: £16.00-£20.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Mon-Thu 08:00-16:30 | Fri 08:00-15:30

Contract: Permanent

• Set and operate CNC milling machines
• Deliver first‑off components and specialist jobs
• Identify tooling needs to keep production running smoothly
• Manage workload effectively in line with production schedules
• Complete shop‑floor documentation accurately (routing sheets, tickets and computer‑based records)
• Carry out self‑inspection to ensure parts meet specification
• Support continuous improvement work (including scrap reduction and quality improvements)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC machining / precision manufacturing
• Confident setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Experience machining high‑precision components in a low‑volume environment
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Comfortable completing self‑inspection and maintaining high quality standards
