An established industry player is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC lathe machines using FANUC controls to produce precision components according to customer specifications. CNC Mill/Turn – Programmer/Setter/Operator

Bowmill Poole is currently seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn – Programmer/Setter/Operator.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC MILL/TURN Lathe machines with FANUC operating control system to produce turned components to customer drawings and specifications.
• Producing offline and online CNC programs. Knowledge and experience of Edgecam software/programming is an advantage but not essential.
• Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements.
• General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled.
• Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S.

Your skills and qualifications as a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator:

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
• General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled.
• Working knowledge of Nakamura machines with bar feed is an advantage but not essential.

• Adept with FANUC Controls and have solid experience in the aerospace industry.
