Hours: 39hrs Mon-Fri – Flexible 4 or 5 day week

From CNC machining and grinding to assembly and surface treatments, our client delivers excellence at every stage of production, ensuring the highest industry standards are met.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

1. Programming, setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines with Fanuc operating control system to produce prismatic components to customer drawings and specifications
2. Producing offline and online CNC programs using CAD/CAM software. Experience of Edgecam software/programming is an advantage but not essential
3. Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
4. Maintaining your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

Your skills and qualifications as a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator:

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering
• General high standard of engineering ability – fully skilled
• Working knowledge of fourth and fifth axis machines is an advantage
