Job summary

HRGO is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join its precision engineering team in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. You will set up and operate CNC Mills to produce high-precision components according to drawings and specifications, with options for 4-day or 5-day weeks.

The role offers a starting salary of £34,476 per year with overtime, 39 hours per week, and potential to work nights. Engineering apprenticeship or similar experience preferred, and a strong team player who can maintain quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Proficient in operating CNC Mills and controls.
• Ability to set up and run CNC Mills per drawings and procedures.
• Able to inspect own work and maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC Mills, ensuring adherence to quality and work procedures.
• Operate additional machinery when required.
• Inspect own work and make adjustments to maintain quality.
• Update tooling sheets and record cycle times.
• Assist fellow setter/operators to improve efficiency and processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
