Job summary

Syntech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Miller - Setter/Operator for a night shift near Ascot, Berkshire. Set and operate Mazak or Fanuc controlled CNC mills to produce precision components from engineering drawings.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience, ability to manage multiple machines, read drawings, and maintain quality. Salary up to £48,500 with nights 5pm-4am, 25 days holiday and pension.

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator.
• Confident setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Comfortable managing workload across more than one machine.
• Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.

CNC Miller - Setter/Operator

Location: Ascot, Berkshire (Commutable from Bracknell, Woking, Slough, Maidenhead, Windsor, Reading and surrounding areas)

Salary: £17.50ph - £18ph basic + 1.3x shift uplift (£47,000 - £48,500 inc shift)

Hours: 5pm to 4am Monday - Thursday

The position suits an experienced CNC Miller who is comfortable setting and operating machines, running multiple jobs, and working to exacting quality standards.
