Job summary

Ion Tec is partnering with a precision engineering firm in the Rotherham area to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist who can program, set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines. The role focuses on producing small-batch, high-quality components from drawings, using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls where available.

You will work independently, choose tooling and methods, and be responsible for producing accurate parts in a days-only schedule with overtime opportunities at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Experience in both CNC milling and turning.
• Confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tolerances.
• Experience producing one-off and small-batch components.
• Independent work ethic and problem solving.
