Job summary

Shillito Group in Rotherham is seeking a skilled CNC Miller who can programme, set and operate Fanuc controlled machinery. The role covers 3, 4 and 5 axis work and involves reading detailed drawings to deliver precision components.

You will programme and prove out jobs, select tooling, workholding and speeds, and continually improve cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances. A permanent days role with an early finish every Friday is on offer.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC milling experience.
• The ability to programme Fanuc controls.
• Confidence setting and proving out your own work.
• The ability to read detailed engineering drawings.
• A good understanding of tooling, fixturing, feeds and speeds.
• Experience within precision engineering or another tightly controlled manufacturing environment.

Shillito Group are recruiting for a well established precision engineering business in Rotherham.

They are looking for an experienced CNC Miller who can programme, set and operate Fanuc controlled machinery.

Fanuc experience is needed, as well as experience using multi axis machinery.

You will be responsible for programming, setting and proving out jobs, selecting the right tooling and working from detailed engineering drawings.

The role will involve:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
• Editing and optimising Fanuc programmes
• Working across 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery
• Selecting tooling, workholding, feeds and speeds
