Job summary

ESS Employment Ltd is recruiting a CNC Lathe Turner Setter and Operator to join a Stroud based client. You will set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol controls to manufacture precision aerospace components.

Hours: 07.30 – 16.30 Monday - Thursday and 07.30 - 12.30 Friday, with a late shift 14.00 – 23.00 Monday to Thursday and 30% uplift on hourly rate. Start ASAP; permanent position in Stroud; £15.00-£18.00 per hour on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Setter/Operator on lathes and mills.
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol controls.
• Ability to set intricate parts to fine tolerances.
• Operate CNC machinery producing aerospace quality components.
• Select tooling and edit machining programs; ensure safety policies.
