Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' relevant CNC production experience with a strong background in precision manufacturing.
• Experience within motorsport, automotive, aerospace or other high-performance engineering environments would be advantageous.

CNC TURNER SETTER OPERATOR

£18.00 per hour

Permanent | 40 hours per week

Monday–Friday | Days

Syntech Recruitment are looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join a precision manufacturing environment supporting motorsport and future automotive projects.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machinery to produce high-quality precision components, ensuring accuracy, quality and efficient production.

Key experience

• CNC turning / lathe setting and operating
• Fanuc controls
• Programme and offset editing
• Reading engineering drawings
• Manual measurement and inspection
• Working to tight tolerances
• Identifying and resolving machining issues

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you’ll have 3–5 years' relevant CNC production experience with a strong background in precision manufacturing.

Experience within motorsport, automotive, aerospace or other high-performance engineering environments would be advantageous.

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: Flexible start between 7:00am–8:00am, finishing between 3:30pm–4:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm or 8:00am–2:00pm

Overtime may also be available when required
