Job summary

Actio Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision engineering team in Stroud. The role covers setting, operating and programming CNC machines for turning and milling, using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls and Fusion 360 where required.

You will read engineering drawings, perform quality checks and work to tight tolerances, with hours Monday-Thursday and Friday half-day, with overtime opportunities and reviews based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC setting, operating and programming.
• Background in CNC turning and/or milling.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• CNC setting, operating and programming.
• Work on turning and/or milling machines.
• Program using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls; use Fusion 360 where required.
• Produce high-quality precision components; ensure parts meet specifications.
