Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare and configure CNC grinder machines according to engineering specifications, including loading programs, setting tools, and adjusting machine parameters.
• Accurately read blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to understand part specifications and grinding requirements.
• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to inspect finished parts and ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Continuously observe grinding processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance and part accuracy.
• Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of machines and tooling, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, and ensure workplace safety.

Experience Needed:

• Minimum 2 years in a CNC grinder/turner capacity
• Experience programming, setting, and operating a GER vertical grinding machine using a Fanuc control system
• Ability to read drawings using various inspection equipment to hold tight tolerances on DIAs and faces
• Ability to use slings/cranes to load and unload parts from machines

Hours of Work:

07:00 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
