Shift Pattern:

AM Shift 05:30am - 1:30pm Monday to Friday

PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm Monday to Thursday (8:00pm finish Friday)

The role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Grinder to join a market-leading manufacturing business in the Worcester area.

Duties:

• Producing a wide & varied range of high-tolerance parts used in the manufacture of CNC machines.
• Understanding Fanuc CNC controls and being able to program, edit, and improve existing and new parts.
• Working within a team of engineers following strict health & safety guidelines and rules.
• Promoting a positive culture among staff by engaging in H&S improvements and Kaizen initiatives.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding.
• Experience and ability to safely operate and set CNC controls.
• Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Programming from drawings using Fanuc CNC controls (desirable).
• Completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship (desirable).
