Job summary

We can SolviT Recruitment LTD in Rugby is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to lead and optimise the milling process on 5-axis machines. The role includes CAD programming (training available) and close collaboration with the shop floor manager to ensure efficient production of large components.

The ideal candidate will be able to set and operate 5-axis mills, write/edit G-code, and bring improvements to tooling and processes.

Qualifications

• Able to set & operate up to 5 axis milling machines.
• Edit or write programmes using G code based controls.
• Experience working with large components.
• CAD experience is a plus.
• Experience with process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on role running 5 axis milling machines and optimising processes.
• Run the milling section and support shop floor manager.
• CAD programming (training available) and collaboration with production team.

CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Salary: £39500 - £41500/hr DOE

Rugby CV22 - Full Time Permanent

We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller who has leadership experience or is looking to take that next step. This is working with a well-established engineering company that covers a huge variety of sectors, working on large components in small batches.

This is a hands on role where you will still be running 5 axis milling machines, but also optimising processes, running the milling section, CAD programming (training can be provided) and working closely with the shop floor manager.

• Live local to Rugby or within a reasonable commute
• Previous CAD experience is a benefit
• Experience with process optimisation
