Job summary

Kingston Barnes Ltd. is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a team manufacturing precision parts for aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines, install fixtures and tools, and produce high-quality components to tight specifications.

The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, using measuring equipment, and applying GD&T. The company offers competitive pay, shift patterns, pension, and benefits, with onsite parking and health plans.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC setter operator with knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls.
• Ability to set work shifts including 4th axis and Trunnions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety protocols and quality standards.

Role Overview

Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for a new role? This is a great opportunity to join a leading supplier of machined parts to global Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 customers.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating of CNC Milling machines
• Installing workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools
• Production of high-quality detail parts
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Adherence to health and safety protocols
• Adherence to specifications and quality standards

Candidate

• Experienced CNC setter operator
• Knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc controls
• Ability to set work shifts including 4th axis and Trunions
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Ability to resolve common CNC machine issues (tooling problems, etc)
• Experience using measuring equipment
• Understanding of Geometric dimensions and tolerances

Benefits

• £20.40 per hour including shift allowance, £39,249.60 per year
• Double days, Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, Fridays 6am - 11am, 11am - 4pm
