Job summary

Interlinx is seeking an Installation Design Engineer to support a major London Underground infrastructure project on a 12-15-month contract. The role requires converting site knowledge into installable designs for CMS containment and associated electrical systems, with hybrid working (2 days in office, 3 days remote).

You will collaborate with site teams and disciplines, review drawings, and ensure compliance with London Underground standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Installation Design Engineer on infrastructure projects (London Underground preferred).
Electrical installation background with site-based experience.
Demonstrable CMS / cable containment design experience, especially for London Underground.
Experience with engineering drawings and design documentation.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed installation designs for CMS containment and associated electrical systems.
Develop practical, buildable design solutions for the London Underground environment.
Work closely with site teams, engineers, and other disciplines.
Review drawings, existing designs, and site information to develop effective engineering solutions.
Ensure designs comply with relevant London Underground standards and project requirements.
Support the project through the design and installation phases.
