Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced MEPH Design Manager for a major UK infrastructure project in London. The role focuses on hands-on design management, coordinating MEP packages through RIBA Stage 5, and ensuring buildable, compliant designs for construction.

The ideal candidate will manage subcontractors, lead design reviews and drive issue resolution, while working closely with contractors, designers and stakeholders under a hybrid arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 remote).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MEPH or MEP Design Management on major construction projects.
• Experience delivering design packages through RIBA Stage 4 and/or Stage 5.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health services.

Responsibilities

• Manage Stage 5 MEPH design packages across two major assets.
• Coordinate MEP design activities across MEP disciplines and systems.
• Lead design reviews, approvals and progress documentation.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and interface issues.
• Support transition from detailed design to construction and installation.
