Qualifications

• Experience working in a highly regulated precision engineering environment (Aerospace, automotive, defence, medical, etc).
• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer or Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, gauges and CMM’s.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate CMM programs for new and existing products.
• Conduct inspections in accordance with quality plans.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Complete inspection reports, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify and document non-conformances.
• Maintain inspection tools and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Train and support inspectors in the use of CMM programs and equipment.
• Maintain CMM equipment and calibration schedules to ensure measurement accuracy.
