CMM Inspector & Quality Analyst - Precision Metrology

Job summary

Geeplus is seeking a CMM Operator-QC Inspector in the UK to ensure quality across raw materials, in-process components and finished goods. You will partner with production and engineering to improve process controls and maintain thorough inspection records.

Responsibilities include documenting results, managing non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement through root-cause analysis in a small, focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection and control in manufacturing
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Strong metrology skills with CMM knowledge
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Good communication and collaboration across teams
• Proficiency with MS Office and ERP data entry
• Training on Zeiss CMM and software; engineering degree desirable

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of materials, components, and finished products using precision measuring tools
• Record inspection results in reports and quality databases; create Non-Conforming Reports and First Article Inspections
• Identify, document, and isolate defective parts; initiate Non-Conforming Material Reports
• Monitor production processes to ensure tolerances and detect drift
• Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment; flag needed repairs
• Collaborate with all departments to address quality issues and support continuous improvement; perform root cause analysis
