Job summary

Probe UK is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join the Inspection Laboratory in a technically driven environment emphasising precision and reliability. You will ensure components meet defined quality standards before advancing in production and to customers.

The role offers ongoing training and progression in a specialist engineering context, with a clear pathway for developing expertise and contributing to long-term plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CMM Programmer.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Familiar with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming components and sub-assemblies within goods inwards.
• Carry out audits of fully assembled kits prior to customer shipment.
• Inspect parts and assemblies in line with engineering drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to meet quality and compliance requirements.
• Accurately complete inspection records and documentation.
• Carry out all inspection activities on-site within the company’s facilities.
