Job summary

RGS Global in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Engineer / CMM Operator to join its precision engineering team. The role covers QMS management, CMM operation and inspection of precision machined components to ensure dimensional and quality standards before release.

You will work from engineering drawings, use micrometers, verniers and other inspection equipment, and collaborate with production and engineering to maintain high quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control within precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Experience operating a CMM and using standard mechanical inspection equipment.
• Familiarity with FAIRs and interpreting engineering drawings is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to record inspection results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional and visual inspections of precision machined components.
• Operate CMM and automated inspection equipment.
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Maintain QMS processes and record inspection results.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to uphold quality standards.
