Job summary

Opticore IT is seeking a System Administrator to support CMDB administration and ITSM within ServiceNow for a 3-month contract in the UK. The role requires three days on-site per week in Dunstable, working with a major hospitality brand to maintain, validate, and improve Configuration Management data.

You will gather and validate information from diverse stakeholders, update CI attributes and relationships, and run workshops to confirm ownership and escalation contacts, with strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience in CMDB/ServiceNow Administration.
• Experience in IT service Management environment.
• Experience supporting large-scale data quality & governance.
• Reporting & Excel proficiency.
• Proven ability to gather and validate information from multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve Configuration Item, Service and Service Offering records within ServiceNow, working across Infrastructure, Applications, Networks, Security and Service Management teams to gather and validate information.
• Update CI attributes, ownership, support groups and relationships in ServiceNow
• Validate Service and Service Offering records with Service Owners and Tower Leads;
• Run workshops to confirm ownership, support arrangements and escalation contacts
• Track remediation of missing or inaccurate records using ServiceNow reporting.
