Job summary

Sofitel London-Heathrow, part of the Arora Group, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a strategic sales and marketing plan emphasizing room hire, F&B and events for corporate and MICE clients.

You will build relationships with key accounts, drive revenue, and foster a sales culture within the team while working on-site at Heathrow. Experience with Opera/OnQ is helpful and a valid driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a portfolio of local Corporate Companies and hunt for new business.
• Passion for building relationships with extranet providers and animate relationships to maximise productivity.
• Previous experience as a Sales Manager in a European market with hotel mix knowledge (transient and MICE).
• Excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• A clean driving licence.
• Experience of Delphi is essential; knowledge of Opera/OnQ reservations systems would be desirable.

The Sales Managerwho will be responsible to assist in creating a strategic sales & marketing plan with a focus on room hire, food & beverage and associated bedroom targets; ensuring there is a 'sales culture' amongst the team by planting monthly targets

More about you...

• Experience in managing a portfolio of local Corporate Companies and hunt for new business.
• Passion for building relationships with extranet providers and animate relationships in order to maximise productivity
• Previous experience as a Sales Manager achieved within a European market, with a good understanding of hotel business mix needs of transient and MICE business, MICE experience is preferable
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and negotiation skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) are essential
• A clean driving license
• Experience of Delphi is essential and knowledge of reservations systems (Opera/OnQ) would be desirable
